1. Apply online to the Graduate School at The University of Tennessee at Martin.

2. Complete the online application then , submit your transcripts, field experience, and Signature page to:

3. Take and pass the PRAXIS II test in specified content area (refer to: http://ets.org/praxis )

4. Participate in pre-service Field Experience. Volunteer to serve a minimum of 10 hours in a school observing and tutoring to confirm your desire to be a teacher. Complete the "Field Experience" and "Signature" forms and mail them to Hollianne Carver.
    

5. Apply for a teaching position within an eligible school district. Obtain and send a letter of intent or signed contract from that district to Hollianne Carver.

You may apply at anytime. The application deadline for our next Cohort is April 15, 2010. Program orientation will be in May. The coursework begins in June.
